FAQ

WHAT IS YOUR PRODUCTION TIME?

Standard production time is typically 2-4 days depending on the type of order. Specialty items or larger quantities may require additional days and vary depending on the type of order. During the holiday season, printing turnaround times will be extended by an additional (2) two business days due to an increase in volume.

All rushed jobs will incur additional production and shipping fees.

Orders Approved with Payment Processed by 12PM ET, your turnaround time begins that day.*
Orders Approved with Payment Processed after 12PM ET your turnaround time begins the next business day. *
*Any issues with submitted files and/or payment may delay your order.

WHAT SHOULD THE RESOLUTION BE?

If you are providing a raster file (.jpg or .tiff) created in a program such as Photoshop we recommend a resolution of at least 300DPI.  For even better results, you can increase the resolution to 400DPI.

While vector files do not have a resolution, if you are placing images into Illustrator or InDesign, be sure that they are the correct resolution and color type (CMYK).

WHAT IS A BLEED?

The term comes from the extra margin on a print product that bleeds off the edge. A bleed is the area to be cut off when the product is trimmed to its final size. If you need a template for a specific product, please contact us and specify exactly what you need.

A full bleed is required for all print-ready files.

WHAT TYPE OF FILE SHOULD I SEND?

We recommend saving as a .PDF. You may also send the file in the following types: jpg, jpeg, tif, tiff, eps, and png. We prefer that you send .PDF with embedded or outlined fonts. .PDF’s are easier to handle and will likely speed up your turn-around. Remember to flatten your files before uploading.
